Low-poly pixel shutter
A downloadable asset pack
For use in whatever project you want, no credit necessary, enjoy :)
There is a controller to the right of the object you can used to raise/lower the shutter. This works in Blender, but cannot be directly imported to Unity I think.
I have a youtube video here that somewhat explains how to import these animations, and you can read the step by step below. If you need more help with that just let me know and I'll try to reply right away,
Here's a process vid, let me know if you like this sort of thing:
To bake these animations:
1. Animate the shutter how you like.
2. Make sure you have the "Import-Export: NewTek MDD format" addon enabled (It comes with blender).
3. Select just the 'shutter' part of the model.
4. File > Export > Lightwave Point Cache (.mdd) to make a .mdd file on your computer.
5. Still with just the shutter selected, go File > Import > Lightwave Point Cache (.mdd) and immediately reimport the file you just made.
6. Done! Now the animation is baked into the model, you can delete the curve modifier and stuff, and export your animation into Unity or whatever.
Be warned this process will create animations out of hundreds of shape keys, so it can be a little messy, but it does work so I will pretend they are not there :D <3

can this be used in godot 4???
The model will certainly work as an object yes :) I'm not sure about how to get the animations from blender to godot, for that you might be on your own (I have never tried godot) but I hope you can figure it out, please enjoy!
i figured it out, i just make it go up and down lol
That's great! Good luck to you, if you make something cool feel free to share I'd love to see it :)
